Transportation collageTransportation Committee

The Transportation Committee addresses transportation issues in the Hamline Midway neighborhood. The committee disseminates information to and gathers feedback from the community on transportation issues; tracks, discusses, and debates transportation-related issues; and provides information and recommendations for action to the HMC Board of Directors.

Land Use Committee
The Land Use Committee works with staff to review land use Hands raised!applications - for licenses, variances, conditional use permits, re-zonings, etc. - and makes recommendations regarding such requests to the HMC Board of Directors or directly to the City of St. Paul.   The committee conducts research and gathers feedback from the community as needed.

Community Building Committee

The purpose of the Community Building Committee is to: 1) Coordinate the annual Hamline Midway Spring Festival; 2) Organize an annual block club coordinator workshop; 3) Monitor neighborhood crime/safety/livability issues and serve as a liaison between HMC and the St. Paul Police Department; and 4) Develop and implement events, projects, and programs that will strengthen community relations, improve neighborhood livability, prevent crime, and increase safety.
